What We Do

We’re a limited service publisher.  We’re a sort of half-way house between the three options of doing it all yourself (self publishing), paying someone to publish for you (vanity publishing), and finding a traditional publisher who will hopefully pay you an advance and a royalty on sales, and do it all for you.

If you’ve a book you want to get onto Amazon, or into Ingram, we can possibly help.  We’ve done this for several authors and titles already, so we can save you having to start at square one, and can save you from some of the traps and mistakes that are lurking in the background.

How We Can Help

We’re here to help you on your journey to get your work published.  We can do as little or as much of that as you wish.

We can help you proof and format your manuscript.  We can help you with cover design.  We can provide an ISBN and bar code.  We can help you choose which Amazon and Ingram programs to participate in.  We can help you with publicity and promotion.  And so on – basically we work with you and do as much or as little as is needed to end up with a published book (eBook and/or print book, hardcover or paperback) that conforms to most (ideally all) of the IBPA Industry Standards.  As an IBPA member, we are happy to comply with and advocate for all their best-standard practices, both in terms of you and getting your book to market, and in terms of how we work with you and for you.

We’re not an ALLi member, but we adhere to their code of standards, too.

Let’s start a dialog.  Why not tell us where you’re at, what you need, and what your objectives are.  No promises on either side, but let’s at least see if there’s a chance of being able to sensibly work together.  Send us an email, include a work sample too if you like :  Enquiry@Aramoana.pub

Money Issues

We’re unwilling to go “out of pocket” with most new authors and most new works.  But we’re willing to invest some of our time in working with you if we like what you’re doing.  Everything depends on what we see as the value of your work and how we can jointly share in its success.

Sorry to be vague – we’re not trying to deliberately hide anything.  Rather, as authors ourselves, we’re trying to be flexible and as helpful and supportive as possible.
