We’re primarily writers, both fiction and non-fiction, adult and young-adult.
We ended up lost in the mess of rejection notes from established publishers and established agents, and the morass of offers from vanity publishers and other rapacious organizations hoping to get rich off our gullibility and hopes.
So we ended up doing most of it ourselves, and/or finding the best partners to work with for the services it made no sense to do directly. During that process, we made many mistakes, suffered many delays, had to redo things repeatedly, and spent a great deal of unnecessary money. But now that we’ve hopefully learned from most of our mistakes, it all seems a bit easier and clearer now, and we’re happy to now save other writers from needing to similarly rediscover the wheel.
